The best place to store either a link to each e-mail, or the text itself, in the patient record in SM is in the Clinics module. Use SysMaint to define a new field in a clinic, of type memo, and named suitably.

The next requirement is for the e-mail program to be capable of saving messages complete in memo fields in userdata.dbf
Alternatively, use a small Visual Basic program to offer a new record into which one drops the text in the usual way.
